Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this remarkable event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has raised $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s riding club gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To learn more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
